N17, the road between Davel and Ermelo, was upgraded to toll road standards. The design involved visual assessments and existing road condition evaluations to determine upgrading requirements.
Knight Piésold will be involved in maintaining the Mahkushane Road. The bulk of the work will involve recycling and repairing the road surface. This will include reconstructing potholes, edge breaks and shoulders, cleaning converts, recycling the road base and surface, and shaping road reserve and road marking.
Knight Piésold was involved in maintaining the whole stretch of this 15 km road.
