Knight Piésold Lends a Helping Hand to the Christ Church Christian Care Centre in South Africa

October 23, 2012, Johannesburg, South Africa - Knight Piésold has been involved in very exciting and beneficial social upliftment projects. One of the recent initiatives was the donation of R30 000 to the Christ Church Christian Care Centre in Berea, Gauteng, South Africa to help with some of the financial challenges that the centre had experienced recently. The centre was established in July 2000 to care for the children of families affected by HIV/AIDS.

Hydropower Africa is a forum where comprehensive presentations, panel discussions and focused sessions will address the issues surrounding the financing and the implementation of hydropower projects in Africa – both large and small.

The Braamhoek Consultants Joint Venture (BCJV), comprising Knight Piésold, GIBB, and SSI, took home the award in the category of "Engineering Excellence with a value greater than R250 million for the Bedford Dam, part of the Ingula Pumped Storage Scheme.
