Project Overview
The Filo del Sol Project is a copper-gold-silver deposit located 140 km southeast of the city of Copiapó, Chile and straddles the border between the province of San Juan, Argentina and Region III, Chile.
Project Role
Knight Piésold developed an environmental baseline study for Filo Mining Corp. The study was centered on surveying the operation areas and access roads, about 240 km of roads from the area of Guandacol in the province of La Rioja.
Each environmental study considered:
- Flora and fauna studies
- Archaeological studies
- Limnological studies
- Meteorological analysis
- Surface water sampling
