Jorge Velázquez

Jorge Velázquez is the Deputy Operations Manager of Knight Piésold México, based in the Mexico City office. A civil engineer from UNAM, he has 12 years of experience in water resource management and mining and civil works. Specializing in water balance, his career encompasses project management, engineering development, and construction support. He has led and provided technical support in the design of mining facilities, such as tailings dams, diversion channels, drainage systems, and river protections. He has participated in projects in the United States, Colombia, Argentina, and Ghana, among others. His technical and management experience enables him to guide teams toward results and maintain close and effective relationships with clients.
