Water infrastructure provides important benefits to society but also needs to be developed in an efficient and sustainable manner to limit the impact to our aquatic ecosystems.
In collaboration with environmental, social, and public participation consultants and technical specialists, our team is able to undertake large water infrastructure feasibility studies and masterplans and has over many years been actively involved in various large water resources planning studies at desktop, reconnaissance, pre-feasibility, and detailed feasibility level.
From calculating water demands for a proposed scheme in order to determine the type, size, and location of infrastructure required, to preparing capital, operational, and maintenance cost estimates for feasible options to provide an economic comparison and final recommendations, we work on a variety of water infrastructure types, including dams and weirs, abstraction works, pump stations, water treatment works, pipelines and reservoirs.
