October 11, 2019, Mendoza, Argentina – Knight Piésold Argentina, in collaboration with Ducha de Sol, coordinated a one-day workshop on September 27 to educate the local community of Rodeo on sustainable environmental practices. The workshop took place at the Albergue School in Rodeo, the main town in the department of Iglesia, located in the province of San Juan.
Students, teachers, and interested community members attended the workshop, learning about recycling and reusing plastic waste to assemble water and solar air heaters. The workshop also focused on fostering innovative thinking and environmental responsibility—cornerstones in Knight Piésold’s corporate culture. Ducha de Sol provided heaters for the workshop and donated two heaters that were installed and remain in operation at the school.
Ducha de Sol, which the company has supported with past initiatives, is an NGO based in the province of Mendoza that aims to mitigate social, environmental, and economic issues through clean energy.
