June 27, 2016 – This year marks Knight Piésold’s 95^th anniversary since being established in Johannesburg, South Africa in 1921 as a specialist in water resources, hydropower, natural draught cooling towers, and thermal power stations.

Knight Piésold has grown from a one-person engineering consultancy into a global network of companies in Africa, Australia, Asia, Europe, and North and South America. More than 750 engineers, environmental scientists, geoscientists, and technologists based in 29 offices worldwide are active in the development of the mining, power, water resources, infrastructure, and oil and gas industries.

Throughout the decades, Knight Piésold has continuously evolved through service and operation expansions to adapt to changing market conditions, yet, at the same time, we have remained true and constant in our core values. Our employees embody these underlying principles—with particular emphasis in technical excellence and client focus—that are demonstrated in each project we complete.
