October 28, 2012, Johannesburg, South Africa – Corporate Social Responsibility is an important part of everyday work at Knight Piésold Consulting. The Bokamoso Social Investment Scheme (the corporate social scheme in South Africa) has recently invested in another school in Ennerdale, Johannesburg. Knight Piésold believes that giving back to communities is an investment and not a donation. The company bought Engineering Graphics and Design equipment for Ennerdale Technical (set squares, scientific calculator, drawing board), aiming at encouraging learners to pursue the subject. EDG is as important as Maths and Science. The partnership formed between Knight Piésold and Ennerdale Technical High School will be one the many fruitful partnerships that the company has with its partners.

Knight Piésold creates opportunities for the previously disadvantaged learners by providing them with the right tools to further their education and become highly qualified and employable citizens. By working closely and building up relationships with the heads of the schools, the aim is to identify promising learners so that bursaries can be offered to them to further their education. This CSI initiative has brought hope and encouragement to learners at Ennerdale Technical and Knight Piésold looks forward to a bright and promising investment.
