May 21, 2015, Vancouver, BC, Canada – Knight Piésold’s Vancouver office hosted a sandwich making session on May 20 in support of a meal program run by the First United Church Community Ministry Society. The program, which receives support and donations from various organizations and the wider community, offers food for anyone in need of a good meal.
With Knight Piésold providing the ingredients and Culinary Capers Catering supplying the kitchen utensils, 32 staff prepared tuna, peanut butter and jelly, and ham and cheese sandwiches. The volunteers made 300 sandwiches for distribution to vulnerable people in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside community.
At Knight Piésold, we are committed to being socially responsible. The meal program is one of the many charitable initiatives that Knight Piésold is proud to be involved in, and we look forward to continuing our support of the program in the years to come.
