April 26, 2016, Denver, CO, USA – Knight Piésold’s Denver office has recently partnered with Urban Peak, a program that supports young people ages 15-24 who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless in the Denver metropolitan area and Colorado Springs. Through street outreach, education and employment programs, supportive housing, and other services, Urban Peak aims to assist youth in becoming self-sufficient and living a successful life off the streets.

On April 19, 2016, several employees from the Denver office worked with Urban Peak in hosting a hot breakfast at Urban Peak’s Drop-In Center, serving burritos, yogurt, and juice. Knight Piésold participants enjoyed the opportunity, and the youth truly appreciated the hot meal—something that most of us take for granted.

Giving back to our community is an important part of Knight Piésold and we look forward to expanding our volunteer activities with Urban Peak in the near future. Events in the works include running household and personal item donation drives and providing refurbished company laptops and youth tutoring.
