October 18, 2019, London, UK – Knight Piésold UK is delighted to announce that it will be attending two mining conferences in London: Mines and Money London and Mines and Technology London. Both conferences will be held at the Business Design Centre on November 25-27.
Knight Piésold UK will be exhibiting at the 17th annual Mines and Money London conference, which is established as Europe’s largest and most talked-about mining investment forum. This year, it is expected that more than 2,000 attendees will be present over the course of the three-day event, including over 600 investors and over 150 mining companies.
In previous years, Knight Piésold UK has been at the forefront of conversation among a variety of junior and mid-tier to established producers and major mining companies, offering services and expertise from the company’s bespoke branded booth. Guests are welcomed to the booth with compelling and stimulating discussion about the company and how its diverse, specialist engineering team can assist with projects and opportunities. Not one to allow visitors to leave empty-handed, guests are also invited to take part in the company’s annual tailings-related competition, with last year’s runner-up receiving a luxury bottle of gin and the winner receiving a brand-new Nintendo Switch console.
Regional Manager Richard Elmer will be chairing the “Innovations in Tailings Dam Technology” session at the 4th annual Mines and Technology London conference. The conference focuses on the digital transformation of mining operations, bringing together leading mining companies, innovative technology providers, and renowned industry experts.
Elmer will be moderating the session’s keynote panel debate on “Overcoming the Challenge of Tailings Dams with Technology Innovation,” where miners and industry experts discuss how technology is leading the way in tailings design and redesign. The session will also include a keynote address and a case study presentation by others.
“Both conferences are perfect networking opportunities for our London team,” said Elmer. “We can have that unique one-to-one conversation with a variety of different mining outfits, understanding their needs and tailoring an efficient and cost-effective solution, without compromising on quality.”
“We look forward to another exciting and successful year meeting some of the biggest mining and investment companies from across the globe,” added Elmer.
