June 13, 2024, Lima, Peru – Rubén Vargas, Engineering Manager of Knight Piésold Peru, gave a keynote presentation addressing tailings management challenges at the "British Expertise for Tailings and Water Dam Design and Management," a renowned event organized by the British Embassy in Lima. Vargas was among the distinguished speakers invited to the event, which was held on May 30, 2024, at the Sol de Oro Hotel in Lima, Peru, addressing challenges and advancements in tailings and water management.
The full-day event began with an initial round of presentations from various international companies, giving attendees an insight on the latest trends and applied innovations in different parts of the world. Knight Piésold, as one of the leading engineering consulting firms, was represented by Vargas, whose knowledge and experience in tailings management were key highlights of the day.
