Mark Dillon

Mark Dillon is the Regional Manager of the Melbourne operation of Knight Piésold Australia. He joined Knight Piésold in 2024 from ATC Williams, where he held the roles of Senior Principal, COO, and Board Member.

Mark has over 30 years of experience in the management, design, and development of mine waste strategies on a global platform. He has supported the design of some of the world’s largest tailings dams, working at mines in Peru and Mongolia, and is experienced in all methods of tailings storage. Mark has also held the position of Engineer of Record for tailings dams in Peru, Mongolia, and within Australia.

Mark is a Chartered Civil Engineer (CPEng, RPEQ, NER, Int PE), a member of Engineers Australia (MIEAust), and the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).
