P.E.Paul Ridlen is the Regional Manager and President of Knight Piésold USA and is based in the Denver office. He has more than 25 years of professional experience in civil, geotechnical, and environmental engineering related to mining, water resources, energy, and public infrastructure projects. His experience includes planning, permitting, engineering, and construction support.
He has supported the design of some of the world’s largest tailings dams, working at mines in the United States, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Namibia, and Peru, and is experienced in all methods of tailings dam construction including filtered tailings facilities. He is experienced in the preparation of NI 43-101 reports and has been a Qualified Person for tailings and environmental. He is currently licensed as a professional engineer in Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas, and is a member of the U.S. Society of Dams; the Canadian Dam Association; the American Society of Civil Engineers; the Society for Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration; and other professional organizations.
