Saumil Parmar

Managing Director, BotswanaSaumil Parmar is the Managing Director of Knight Piésold Botswana and is based in the Gaborone office. He is an experienced professional engineer involved in bulk water infrastructure, dam design development, and mine residue infrastructure projects. Saumil has experience working in Botswana, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland, and Lesotho. He holds a master’s degree in business administration.
Saumil’s recent projects include the design of new tailings dams, ash dumps, RCC dams, and earth embankment dams. In addition to this, he is actively involved in the design of the North South Carrier 2.3 pipeline in Botswana.
Saumil is passionate about mentorship and the development of future leaders in the engineering consulting industry. He launched the Botswana ACEB Future Leaders Association (formerly known as the Young Professionals Forum) and continues to offer mentorship in their development.
