Project Overview
Damang Gold Mine is located near the town of Abosso, in the Western Region of Ghana. With the existing East Tailings Storage Facility (ETSF) approaching capacity, the mine decided to construct the Far East Tailings Storage Facility (FETSF) to provide additional capacity for tailings storage.
Project Role
Knight Piésold was commissioned to design the FETSF and monitor the construction of Stage 1.
