Project Overview
The Fabiola Industrial Zone is located on the outskirts of Windhoek, some few kilometres from the Northern Industrial area. The project involved the development of 43 industrial plots, which were serviced with water, sewer, interlocked roads, and one bridge.
Project Role
Knight Piésold was appointed by Fabiola Investments to carry out detailed design, contract administration, and site supervision of water reticulation, sewer reticulation, 1.1 km of interlocked paved roads, and a bridge over the Klein Windhoek River, for the 43 industrial erven. Services included:
- Hydraulic designs for water and sewer reticulation
- Detailed flood line investigation
- Pavement design for roads
- Structural bridge design
- Earthworks designs
- Preparation of tender documentation and tender evaluation
