The Ongwediva and Okandjengedi Road and Bridges Project is located between the towns of Ongwediva and Oshakati in the Oshana Region in the north of Namibia. The project consisted of the upgrading of the single carriageway to a dual carriageway as well as construction of two bridges. The road upgrades aimed at enhancing traffic flow between the two towns.
The Road Authority of Namibia appointed Knight Piésold as consulting engineer for the upgrading of a section of the road. The total length of the road is 7.7 km and includes the construction of the two bridges at 55 m and 63 m in length, respectively. Services included:
