Project Overview
Knight Piésold was appointed to complete a media report of the road surface condition along the route from Phalaborwa via Nelspruit to the Mozambique border at Komatipoort. This route was and is still used by the Palabora Mining Company to transport magnetite mineral resource.
Project Role
Knight Piésold conducted a media road survey to record the route used for magnetite delivery, from Phalaborwa to the Mozambique border. The survey included a video that recorded road surface condition. Photographs were also taken of excessive road surface damage as well as all bridges and infrastructure.
