General Manager, ArgentinaAlejandro Demonte is the General Manager of Knight Piésold Argentina and is based in the Mendoza office. He is a civil engineer with over 20 years of technical and commercial experience in the engineering and environmental fields. He specializes in structural and geotechnical engineering and in the environmental management of hydroelectric and mining projects.
He has had significant experience in commercial aspects related to the hydroelectric and mining industries and has been involved in both stages of conceptual design and detail engineering. He is notable for his contribution to the design and construction quality control of metal and concrete structures, earth dams, and heap leach pads; management of environmental impact reports; and development of closure plans.
