He is a geotechnical specialist with over 25 years experience in the mining, waste management, and construction sectors. He provides technical leadership for the London office with specialisation in earthworks engineering, ground investigation, and waste lining systems.
Darren has most recently been part of an expert witness and advisory team, instructed by solicitors on various ground issues in contemplation or in dispute. He has delivered multi-disciplinary studies and designs incorporating geological, engineering, and environmental inputs on projects in Europe, Africa, CIS, the Gulf Region, and Australia. Educated at the University of Liverpool (BSc Geology) and Leeds University (MSc Engineering Geology), Darren is a Chartered Geologist, Chartered Environmentalist, and Chartered Engineer. His technical expertise in ground investigation, characterisation, and earthworks design is supported up with strong project management and communications skills.
