Le Roux Loubser

Le Roux Loubser is the Regional Manager for the Limpopo Province and is based in Knight Piésold’s Phalaborwa office. He holds a BTech degree in civil engineering and an MBA. Le Roux has over 20 years of professional working experience across a wide range of technical, commercial, construction, project management, business management, and business development functions in the mining, petrochemical, and heavy manufacturing industries. He has a thorough understanding of the successful execution of integrated projects consisting of civil, structural, geotechnical, hydrology, geohydrology, geochemistry, environmental, social, and economic aspects. He also has extensive exposure and experience in the safety surveillance of tailings and waste storage facilities.

He predominantly worked in South Africa, Lesotho, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo in the industries related to iron and steel, petrochemical products, diamonds, iron ore, coal, gold, magnetite, copper, phosphate, fertilizer, vermiculite, and antimony manufacturing, production, and mining. He has also undertaken research tasks and attended training and seminar events related to new building construction technology in Massachusetts, Louisiana, and California in the USA.
