January 6, 2021, Vancouver, BC, Canada – Craig Hall has been appointed to the position of Managing Principal at Knight Piésold Canada and has succeeded Robert Mercer, who stepped down from the role and will remain as a Principal of the Company. Craig will manage the North Bay, Ontario office and will continue to expand Knight Piésold’s mining capabilities to support clients in Ontario, across Canada, and in other mining jurisdictions.
Craig has been with Knight Piésold’s North Bay office for 17 years. He started as a Staff Engineer after graduating from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Geological Engineering and progressed to a Specialist Geotechnical Engineer position last year.
Over the course of his career, he built technical expertise in the planning, design, construction, operation, and closure of mine waste and water management facilities and other mining related infrastructure. He gained extensive experience working on projects in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, and Africa.
