Knight Piésold Canada Recognized as a 2020 Top Employer in British Columbia

February 20, 2020, Vancouver, BC, Canada – Knight Piésold Canada is honoured to have been recognized as one of British Columbia’s top employers for the eighth time. The BC’s Top Employers award recognizes industry-leading employers that provide exceptional places to work in the province. This year’s winners were announced in a special magazine supplement in the Vancouver Sun on February 19, 2020 by Mediacorp Canada Inc., organizers of the annual Canada’s Top 100 Employers project.

"We take great pride in supporting our employees to help them achieve their best,” said Ken Embree, President. “We focus on technical excellence in all we do, engaging with teams across disciplines to develop an integrated understanding of project requirements. Fostering this approach plus working collaboratively with teams across Knight Piésold’s global group are ongoing drivers to our success in creating a vibrant, high-performing environment for our employees and for them to provide effective support for our clients around the world.”

In-house lunch and learn sessions, tuition-subsidized external courses, global technical excellence forums, health and wellness programs, and a variety of social events are among some of the reasons why Knight Piésold Canada is considered a top employer. Through these efforts, the company offers opportunities for growth and learning to nurture a bright future for employees across the country.

“Employers in British Columbia are stepping up their efforts to improve their workplaces and human resource policies,” said Richard Yerema, Managing Editor of the Canada’s Top 100 Employers project. Now in its 15th year, the BC’s Top Employers designation was awarded to public and private organizations that have successfully delivered on the following eight criteria: physical workplace; work atmosphere and social; health, financial, and family benefits; vacation and time off; employee communications; performance management; training and skills development; and community involvement.
