July 18, 2017, Mendoza, Argentina – Knight Piésold Argentina is proud to announce that it has recently received certification for its Integrated Management System (IMS), according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 standards, from the Instituto Argentino de Normalización y Certificación (IRAM). This certification covers the services that Knight Piésold offers in the country:

• Environmental baseline studies and environmental impact studies
• Social and environmental studies, environmental management, and environmental audits
• Closure and reclamation plans, waste management, and pollution monitoring and control
• Conceptual, basic, and detail engineering
• Structural design developments for civil works
• Quality assurance and quality control for construction
• Project management
• Health and safety audits
• Geotechnical field laboratory

This achievement demonstrates the company's compliance with and reflects the effective integration of quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety standards for its projects. Under the strategic direction of General Manager Alejandro Demonte, the implementation team, comprised of Marcos Martin, Mariana Rizzo, and Facundo Bastías, established the company’s IMS in 2016. The team adapted and improved all processes according to regulatory requirements, with special involvement in field project assessments to determine an effective execution of the system. All staff members are working together, committed to continuously improve the system.

This certification provides significant recognition for the services that the company provides in the mining, oil and gas, and infrastructure industries and, more recently, in renewable energy.
